Redresorul are un transformator toroidal, protectie cu siguranta impotriva supraincarcarii si supratensiunii, comutator de curent, indicator LED al nivelului de incarcare . 
Va permite sa selectati curentul optim de incarcare. 
Aparatul este conceput pentru incarcarea bateriilor de 6/12 V in autoturisme, pentru bateriile UDE (umede, plumb-acid.)
